When I am wearing my travel writer hat I often get asked to recommend hotels and locations that have impressed me for various reasons. So If you are considering a short break, or are in trip planning mode, here a few places that you could consider a stay in:

Small, independent and superb – Cannes – The Hotel Victoria – This is a small but very classy bed and breakfast hotel in Cannes. Just a stroll away from the glitzy seafront promenade and the shops of Rue d’Antibes, this privately owned hotel also boasts a beautiful outdoor heated swimming pool internet explorer 11en mac.
